Sound Technician Intern:
The Sound Technician Intern will assist the Sound Engineer in season set-up, maintenance, hang, focus, operation of the sound system, and strike. Experience with basic sound equipment in a college or other theatre environment is desired. This includes some familiarity with amplifiers, full-range loudspeakers, cabling, area/boundary microphones, small-format analog mixers and basic signal processing, as well as some working at heights and simple soldering. Basic familiarity with Windows and SFX is also desired but not necessary. The Sound Technician will serve as Sound Operator for tech and performances, and will as necessary also assist the Master Electrician and Technical Director in their deparments, and perform other duties as assigned.
