We are currently looking for an individual to serve as an Account Executive at our Mt. Vernon, N.Y. audio facility. He or she will be responsible for supporting theatrical audio equipment sales and rentals primarily to the Broadway and Touring Theatre markets under the supervision of the General Manager.


Primary Responsibilities:
• Serve as main point-of contact between client and shop operation.
• Keep in close contact with customers and answer all questions about product or services, with appropriate referrals where required.
• Field calls from new and existing clients, troubleshoot issues and follow-up with client to assure satisfaction
• Execute projects under the close supervision of sales manager
• Calculate and quote prices for rentals and services based on client requirements and project specifications
• Create orders, service contracts and purchase requisitions using in-house computer systems
• Identify, price and secure approval for change and add orders
• Produce regular status reports and maintain communication with client and technical staff
• Estimate time and sales expenses and arrange freight expected for billing and submit to Sales Manager
• Coordinate trucking schedules and logistics
• Demonstrate products or services and when needed, help determine best practices for each
• Visit clients on-site as required
• Schedule and manage all client shop visits
• Create invoices and track payment for project
• Maintain all customer files and records
• Participate in other administrative or project meetings and functions as requested.

Job Qualifications:
• B.A. preferred but a combination of education and experience will be considered
• Audio knowledge/experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook, cross-training provided on in-house inventory management system
• Customer service experience a big plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly motivated self-starter able to follow a project from inception to completion
• Professional demeanor and appearance essential.
