Is there a cost to post a Job or Contact Sheet listing?
No. There is no cost to post or view any information on BackstageJobs.com or TheContactSheets.com websites.
The site is free because we believe that you should not have to pay to find work, and to charge any amount simply to view a job listing reduces the number of potential qualified applicants. We also believe that theatre companies should be putting their money into their art and employees, not spending it to find employees.
We do currently offer one paid service, which is the BackstageJobs.com Mailing List. This service sends job listings directly to your e-mail at the moment they are submitted, so you do not need to visit the site. Currently this service sends ALL job listings as they are submitted, but we hope to offer the option to receive specific listings in the future. These are the same lisitings that are available for free on BackstageJobs.com, just sent directly to you. This service helps to pay the costs associated with building and maintaining the sites.
We will also be offering paid advertising space for graphic ads in the future.
