SOUND DESIGNER/audio teacher , The Orange County High School of the Arts, seeks person to Audio department. Job duties include teach sound classes to conservatory students; supervise students and interns in production labs;running Protols studio, mentor student designers; provide support for guest professional designers; design sound for productions annually in a ten-month production season.Everything from Musicals, music concerts,sound efx for plays, mixing music for dance, recording concerts, Gala events. Must have experience in sound production, musical recording, live mixing, sound reinforcement, system installation, sound design, and be able to multitask. A knowledge of digital recording( Protools)and playback devices necessary. MFA preferred. BA and three years full-time professional experience required.Part time salary in the mid 20's.
