Feld Entertainment Inc., the world's largest producer of live family entertainment, has full time opportunities beginning immediately for Sound Technicians for the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey' circus and its touring ice shows including Disney on IceSM . This position controls and operates sound mixing boards to regulate output of voice track and music, and previously taped sound effects. The position also assists in directing local crews, loading and unloading, and assembling and disassembling of all show equipment; and conducts regular maintenance in an effort to preserve the high integrity and professionalism of the company and its equipment. 100% travel is required. Qualifications include related experience, or combination of training and/or education in sound reinforcement as it relates to live performances. Ability to use and understand various kinds of test equipment and meters such as volt, ohm, scope and amp meters. Basic understanding of electrical principles, formulas, and drawings; ability to climb and work (focus, adjust,and repair) at heights in access of 40’ before, during, and after performances, and/or during rigging calls, load-ins or load-outs.
