The Rialto Center for the Performing Arts, a 900-seat theater in downtown Atlanta, is looking to expand it's roster of freelance theatrical technicians. Applicants must have a minimun of two years experience in technical theatre, and posess competent skill sets and a working knowledge of standard equipment for stage lighting, carpentry, and/or sound reinforcement. Candidates must be able to work long hours on nights and weekends, have no fear of heights, and be able to lift approximately 50 lbs. overhead. Crewmembers must demonstrate a diligent work ethic, professionalism, and reliability, as well as superb customer service skills towards coworkers, clientele, and patrons; they must show a willingness to learn, excellent communication skills, and most importantly a sense of humor and the ability to show grace under pressure. Special skills such as rigging, programming, FOH & monitor engineering, stitching, ropecraft, and fluency in foriegn languages are deemed especially valuable.
