Chameleon Theatre Co., Ltd., currently operating under non-profit guidelines while our 501(c)3 status is being restored (lost under the tenure of our past managing director) is seeking co-producers & associate producers for a series of new plays and musicals in development. We are planning a concert performance of songs from these musicals for the Spring to raise additional capital and create a subscription audience. Among the shows are: "That Jones Boy!" (based on Henry Fielding's classic novel "Tom Jones") "No Money Down" (based on the original screenplay for the award-winning indie film "Johnny Montana") "The Pied Piper," "Martin Eden," Pocahontas," "Psyche...and Cupid" (a feminist version of the Greek myth) and others. Our long range plans include opening a new 800-1100 seat performing arts center just outside Manhattan. "Our most recent production "Vacation Bible School: the Musical" played 4 sold-out performances at the Kraine Theater in October and will be moving to a larger venue after the first of the year.
