Touring Electrician needed for Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. Knowledge of Obsession II very important. Road experience preferred. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Production Electrician is responsible for assisting the Lighting Supervisor in the load-in, focus, recreation, cuing, and load-out of all electric/lighting needs for all HSDC engagements. The Production Electrician shall also assist the Lighting Supervisor to maintain and update all lighting equipment and paperwork for the entire HSDC repertoire. Additional duties in support of HS2 as assigned. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: •Assists supervision of local crews in the load-in, hang and focus of HSDC lighting package •Assists supervision of local show crews in the ‘running’ duties for each performance •Assists supervision of load-out of HSDC lighting package •Assists Production Staff in maintaining a safe and conducive work environment •Shares driving duties with HSDC production staff •Other duties, including, but not limited to technical assistance to facilitate HS2 preparation and touring as assigned.
