| E-Mail from BackstageJobs.com to AOL subscribers. |
AOL subscribers take note: you are encouraged to register a web based e-mail address or other third-party e-mail service to receive the BackstageJobs.com Mailing List. AOL, in an attempt to cut down on spam sent to its subscribers, tracks the number of e-mails sent from all IP addresses. Too much e-mail from one IP address is assumed to be from a spammer, and subsequent e-mails from that address are automatically blocked. BackstageJobs.com's mailing list sends A LOT of e-mail. Every new listing is sent to every mailing list member at the moment it is submitted. On some days members receive more than 20 listings. As such, some mail from BackstageJobs.com is being blocked by AOL before it can be received by the member. Yahoo, Hotmail, Google, and many others offer free web based e-mail. BackstageJobs.com does not specifically endorse any single service. The above links are for convenience only. I encourage you to complain to AOL to make it possible to allow e-mail from services that you truly subscribed to.
